The VAND Perspective
This work was selected for its exceptional mastery of Meaningful Silence. It successfully balances human-centered functionality with a visual language that reduces noise and enhances clarity.
In an era of digital saturation, this project stands as a quiet rebellion; it does not compete for attention but commands it through precision and restraint. By stripping away the superfluous, the design invites a deeper engagement, proving that intentional absence can be the most profound presence.
The Creative Intent
Cuna de Piedra is a brand born from a shared purpose: to honor Mexican cacao and reshape the standards of fairness in its production. Our approach began with strategy and identity, creating a name that acknowledges Mexico as the cradle of cacao and the stone as the foundation of its culinary heritage. From there, the branding and packaging were designed to reflect a contemporary yet deeply rooted Mexico, drawing from pre-Hispanic forms and the work of modern Mexican artists who sculpt in stone. By working directly with cacao-growing communities, our client ensures transparency, fair payment, and dignity throughout the process. This commitment is expressed visually and verbally in every touchpoint of the brand, positioning Cuna de Piedra not only as a chocolate maker, but as a cultural homage to the land, its people, and the timeless craft that shapes our identity.
