In March 2022, Vand International Institute launched a project to bridge the educational gap for Afghan girls previously denied access to learning and employment opportunities. This project offered an educational course to these girls, enabling them to acquire practical design skills and empowering them to shape their futures.
During its first year, the project witnessed the active participation of 158 Afghan girls. A remarkable 40 completed the course, marking a significant achievement in their journey. Beyond acquiring skills, this education instilled newfound confidence, enabling these young women to transition into part-time and full-time employment. This tangible transformation underscored the impact of education in imparting knowledge and fostering social and economic empowerment.
As we stand at the midpoint of the second year, Vand International Institute is taking a stride further by extending its wings to Iran. In collaboration with charitable institutions, we are gearing up to introduce this transformative project to Iranian girls and women under their support. We recognize that change comes through collective effort and invite Iranian companies to join us in this noble journey.
